I have a special interest in couples' / relationship / family counselling.  I offer this to both those in an intimate relationship, and also other combinations, for example a parent and adult child or adult siblings.  Common reasons why people seek relationship counselling may be financial, children, blended family dynamics, intimacy, trust, affairs and betrayals, life-stage transitions and generally feeling they have grown apart as a couple or family.

I use Zoom for both family and couples' therapy. This reduces time and costs for both travel and childcare, and the session can be from the comfort of your own home environment. Working online can often significantly reduce your costs for the actual therapy session itself, as in particular areas of the UK counselling fees can be much higher, with no difference in the quality of therapy.

Relationship video counselling can also be an ideal solution if you and your partner / family member live separately, are living apart due to current difficulties, or travel lots for work - you can both attend virtually from your own locations to join me for your session.  This also means that when you can spend time together, some of the 'work' of therapy has already been done which leaves more time to re-connect with eachother.

If I have worked with someone in individual therapy, I would then not see them for relationship counselling with a partner as we have already established therapeutic connection on an individual basis.

**If there is a history of domestic violence, I would not offer couples' therapy.
